Mr. G. Calderwood holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UBC. He has taught ADST, Science, Math, Robotics, and Computer Science from grades 8 through AP, bringing a passion for inquiry and problem-solving to every classroom. Outside of teaching, he enjoys exploring food, tea, coffee, and catching the biggest waves at the beach. A caretaker of Walking Stick Insects (Carausius morosus), he is fascinated by the natural world. In his workshops, Mr. Calderwood encourages intellectual curiosity and perspective-taking, guiding students to develop empathy, leadership skills, and strategies for success in school and future careers.
