Len Gurr has worked in education for 21 years, including the last 7 as a Senior School Principal. He joined St. George’s School in July 2023. Passionate about the art and science of leadership, he firmly believes that establishing trust and positive relationships are cornerstones to being an effective leader. He has considerable experience developing and implementing large-scale school initiatives and building efficacy and motivation amongst various diverse teams. Mr. Gurr also has an extensive tenure as an athlete and coach, including coaching Football Team Canada and Football Team Ontario. He holds an M. Ed., M.A., B.A. (Hons.), and a B. Ed. He has also completed the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools Diploma of Independent School Leadership.
