Markus is currently Associate Faculty at St. George’s Senior School where he teaches English and Social Studies, and supports Reach for the Top and Model UN programs. He received his Bachelor's of Education (Specialization in Secondary - History) and Bachelor's of Arts (Major in Philosophy, Minor in History) with High Distinction from the University of British Columbia where he has also published and presented his academic research.

Jarrod Bradbury

A passionate and people-centred educator, Jarrod Bradbury is a 30-year-old teacher from Australia who recently relocated to Vancouver, bringing with him seven years of diverse classroom experience and a deep belief in the transformative power of education. He holds a Bachelor of Education with a major in Health and Physical Education and a minor in Primary Education, and has taught across a wide range of year levels from Grades 2 to 12.

At the core of Jarrod’s teaching philosophy is the conviction that education shapes everything — that without teachers, there are no astronauts, athletes, artists, or leaders. He views this responsibility as both a privilege and a daily commitment. His practice is grounded in strong relationships, empathy, and gratitude, with a focus on knowing students as individuals and supporting their growth both inside and beyond the classroom. Jarrod strives to create learning environments where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired, and where kindness and character are developed alongside skills and knowledge. He believes great teachers and leaders leave lasting ripples, and hopes his journey in education encourages others to lead with purpose, compassion, and care.
